on semihypergroups and hypergroups
in this thesis, first the notion of weak mutual associativity (w.m.a.) and the necessary and sufficient condition for a $(l,gamma)$-associated hypersemigroup $(h, ast)$ derived from some family of $lesssim$-preordered semigroups to be a hypergroup, are given. second, by proving the fact that the concrete categories, semihypergroups and hypergroups have not free objects we will introduce t...

We study the double cosets of a Lie group by a compact Lie subgroup. We show that a Weil formula holds for double coset Lie hypergroups and show that certain representations of the Lie group lift to representations of the double coset Lie hypergroup. We characterize smooth (analytic) vectors of these lifted representations.
متن کاملHarmonic Analysis and Fractal Limit-measures Induced by Representations of a Certain C-algebra
Palle E.T. Jorgensen and Steen Pedersen Abstra t. We describe a class of measurable subsets Ω in Rd such that L(Ω) has an orthogonal basis of frequencies eλ(x) = e (x ∈ Ω) indexed by λ ∈ Λ ⊂ Rd. We show that such spectral pairs (Ω,Λ) have a self-similarity which may be used to generate associated fractal measures μ (typically with Cantor set support). The Hilbert space L(μ) does not have a tota...
متن کاملSome Hypergroups Induced By Tree Automata
In this paper, we present some connections between tree automaton theory and hyperstructure theory. In this regard, at first we construct some hyperoperations on the set of trees and, specially, prove that one of them creates a join space. Also, we define a hyperoperation on the states of a tree automaton and, based on the properties of the tree automaton, we show that the proposed hyperoperati...
متن کاملHarmonic Analysis and Group Representations, Volume 47, Number 1
26 NOTICES OF THE AMS VOLUME 47, NUMBER 1 H armonic analysis can be interpreted broadly as a general principle that relates geometric objects and spectral objects. The two kinds of objects are sometimes related by explicit formulas, and sometimes simply by parallel theories. This principle runs throughout much of mathematics. The rather impressionistic table at the top of the opposite page prov...
